What is the deadline for registering to vote?

• Tuesday, October 16th is the deadline for registering to vote in Oregon.

How do I register to vote?

• Follow this link to begin the process online. If you have moved recently, make sure you check your registration here to see that it is current.

Who can vote for Chris?

•  Any registered voter in Lane County, Oregon

Where do I get my ballot?

• You will be mailed a ballot to the address from which you registered to vote most recently.  

How do I vote for Chris if there will be no names on the ballot for that position?

• You will need to write in his name under Position 7 on the ballot and fill in the arrow next to that line.  See the photo below. 

 

I want to vote for Chris but I'll be out of town for the election, what do I do?

• You can request an absentee ballot be sent to you.  Find out how to do so here.

Where do I turn in my ballot?

• You may mail your ballot as indicated in the instructions you receive with the ballot, or take it to an official drop site listed here.

What is the deadline for turning in the ballot?

• Your ballot must be received at Lane County Elections or an official drop site by November 6 at 8pm.
