Professional
Chris received his Bachelor's degree Political Science from the University of Oregon and a Law degree from Willamette University College of Law. His private practice since then has been in Family and General Law in Eugene. He has handled a wide range of cases in areas such as Family Law, Business Law, Landlord Tenant Law, Estate Planning, Criminal Law, and Personal Injury. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to helping clients with modest means, including working pro bono on many cases.
Community
Chris is active in his children's school where he currently serves as a parent member of the Site Council. He also volunteers for PTO-sponsored fundraisers. Chris frequently participates in volunteer community improvement projects and youth activities sponsored by civic and church organizations.
Personal
Chris was born and raised in Lane County. He has lived on the East Coast, in the South, and the Mountain West. He appreciates the perspective he's gained from living among people from different backgrounds, but it is here he has returned to raise his family. He and his, wife, Tricia Hendrickson Bevans, have four children that keep them busy but happy.
